Speedy Chicken Stir-Fry

For my first recipe I tried Speedy Chicken Stir-Fry from kraftcanada.com.

300 g. (1/3 of 900g. pkg) angel hair pasta, uncooked

2 cups small broccoli florets

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips

1/4 cup Kraft Asian Sesame dressing

2 tbsp. soy sauce

1/2 tsp each ground ginger, garlic powder, crushed red pepper

1/3 cup chopped dry-roasted peanuts

Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last 3 minutes. Meanwhile heat large nonstick skillet with cooking spray on med-high heat. Add chicken; cook 6 to 8 min or until done, stirring occasionally. Stir in dressing, soy sauce and seasonings. Cook 1 min, stirring occasionally.

Drain the pasta mixture; place in large bowl. Add chicken mixture; mix lightly. Serve topped with nuts.
Options: Substitute whatever vegetables you have on hand, such as snow peas, red or green pepper strips, sliced carrots or chopped red onions, for the broccoli.

I picked this because it looked fast, simple and yummy! It was! Jim loved it too! I think the only tricky part of this recipe is the timing of the pasta cooking and when to add the broccoli. I think it would be easy to overcook the angel hair pasta. I think you could substitute other pastas for the angel hair.

I've tried a similar one to this from Kraft. It was yummy! I like the addition of peanuts to a stir fry!
